- Kristin Henry "reader chick" - Bill O'Reeilly Tells it StraightI was fascinated by Bill O'Reilly's book on Jesus's life and death. Part 'straight from the Bible' and part 'straight from the history books', this rendition of Jesus's life and the convoluted and trumped up explanations for that brutal death (and yes, this book pulls no punches about exactly how brutal and horrifying the crucifixion he suffered was) is not for those looking for an easy read. I won't say I "loved" this book, because that would dilute its power and honesty. I will say it's one of the most memorable and visceral renditions of Jesus's life and death that I have ever read. However, the reader must be aware of exactly what kind of old world 'justice' this is about. Do I recommend it? Oh yes! But know what you're getting into.
- Lee - Cordless phones are great...My wife and I have been on the planet for eight decades, and we tend to hold onto stuff for a long time. Our old phone/answering machine was very old, and was much simpler. It finally died. It took us a few days to get used to the Panasonic features, but now we are really enjoying it. The speaker with a keyboard on the base station is perfect for ordering prescription drugs (which we old folks seem to need a lot of). We were delighted that we could adjust the number of rings before the answering machine kicks in. We hope this machine lasts a long time now that we've figured out how to use it.
- Emily Ross - A must read for all young women!I gave this book 5 stars because these are the kinds of messages that women need to hear from a young age. Kara King is very blunt and honest about some if her ideas in her book- be warned. But as long as you don't mind a little language and vulgarity this is an AMAZING read. I will definitely be recommending this to all of my girlfriends!
This book speaks the truth about how women should act and behave to survive in today's society. Some ladies may not like the way she approaches some things, but she speaks the TRUTH. Which isn't always easy to hear. But like I said, I think these messages are so important for women that live in today's society. If you want to read a book that will empower you and give you an extra edge in the world of dating and relationships, look no further than this book.
